All People, All Stories!

For our March Disability Awareness Month Celebration we had the Mayor, Sally Hutton, along with Regina Dunklebarger from Achieva Resources and Megan Smith, a Physical Therapist from Reid Hospital, all come and read stories and talk about disabilities. We also had a craft! Look at the pictures! There are more pictures on our facebook page as well.
This is the Mayor reading "We'll Paint the Octopus Red" by Stephanie Stuve-Bodeen
This is Jane Arnold, who read for Regina from Achieva. She read "Ian's Walk: A Story about Autism" by Laurie Lears.
This is Megan Smith demonstrating a walker, and the girls exploring crutches and leg braces.
Here are all the kiddos decorating their red octopuses, each one as unique as they are!
