End of Summer Shin Dig!

Did you miss out on the end of summer shindig? We had crafts, stargazing, stories and snacks! Here are some pictures!  And Look! Days before we had a REAL BAT in the library!!!!! Mr. Lou, Mr. Troy and Ms. Kayla got it out safely!

Here is Henry eating s'mores in a bag with pretzel sticks and candy corn for the campfire, marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate chips for the s'mores, all in a bag!

Emma is making lightning bugs with mini craft sticks, dot art, and neon and sparkly bandaids as a muffin tin for the moon!

In the corner we set up glow in the dark stars all over the ceiling and the walls with constellations to find! And also the campfire that Ms. Kayla made lit up with tissue paper and Christmas lights and sticks on cardboard (hot glue is amazing)! She read stories around it to begin and end the program.
Here Paige and Evelyn are making paper bag owls from muffin cups and googly eyes for the eyes, and hand prints and sparkles for the feathers!
The last craft you can see on the wall. Torn paper strips for logs and hand prints in finger paint for the fire!
Don't miss out on our AWESOME programs! Next month's program is a Where the Wild Things Are Party complete with masks, a wild rumpus and pizza (that will still be hot when we get back from our adventures)! September 28th from 12-1:30p! Ages 3 and Up!
