Painting in the Garden

We've been celebrating spring here at Morrisson-Reeves Library by getting our Children's Garden ready, thanks to the support of Sprout of Control.

Last week at our Tummies and Tales storytime, we read My Garden by Kevin Henkes, and we wanted our garden to be just as colorful and imaginative as the one in the book.

So we headed out to the patio where we painted cement blocks that will be used in the garden! It was a fun project and a great way to recycle.

Make sure to keep stopping by over the summer to see the kids' artwork and to see all our vegetables and flowers growing!

And don't miss Tummies and Tales on Thursday, April 17 at Noon. This will be Miss Laurie's final storytime at Morrisson-Reeves. I will be sad to say goodbye, but don't worry! Miss Bethany will be taking over so the storytime fun doesn't stop. See you there!
