In our upcoming Tummies, Tales, and Treats story time (Thursday, September 18th) we will be reading a story about an animal you might find at a the zoo in a story by Kate Banks titled Baboon. Next, we'll read a non-fiction book called Sleepytime Zoo Animals by Caroline Arnold and read a short story that will allow us to go on a zoo safari as a group. We'll wrap up story time with heartwarming book, Wild About You by Judy Sierra! A sight word and songs throughout will also be featured, and the full version of our zoo song will be printed on the reverse side of the weekly sight word activity sheet! Don't forget to bring your imagination and get ready to monkey around a bit!
Please join us at the Morrisson-Reeves Library from 12-12:45p in the Children's Programming Room. The room will be opened 10 minutes prior to story time so that the children can start their lunches (you are welcome to bring a packed lunch) or have a treat on us! Story time will end about 12:35p to allow any child that has not finished their lunch a few extra minutes.
