Snowman friend- Make and take craft
January 21st at 1:30pm

Come join the friendly staff at Morrisson-Reeves Library to kick off Richmond's Meltdown Ice Festival. Make and take home your very own Forever Snowman Friend. All the crafts supplies will be provided. So button up your little ones and head down to the library. Little ones may need a little extra help with this craft.

The art and science of hooping
January 21st at 1:30 pm

THE ART & SCIENCE OF HOOPING (a 4-part S.T.E.A.M. workshop ) Join us each Saturday in the Teen Room for an investigation and celebration of hula hooping! Participants will engineer and build their own custom hoop, explore key concepts in the geometry and physics of hooping, and learn some foundational hoop dance moves. Recommended for ages 10 and up. LIMITED TO 10 PARTICIPANTS.

Meet an Ice Carver
January 24th at 3:30

Come and see an ice carver at work on the Library's Historic Patio. Get their autograph and watch them create an ice sculpture at MRL. Dress warm and meet us outside the Bard Room.
